Pallet rack: These maximize the storage capacity in a warehouse to utilize more floor space and take advantage of ceiling height, and there are multiple varieties to fit various needs.

Selective rack: The selective rack is the most common type and the least expensive rack available. It allows you to avoid moving other pallet loads when accessing any pallet in the system.

Double deep rack: A mix of two rows of standard selective racks allows you to double your storage, although it limits your access to your pallets.

Drive-in/drive-thru rack: These allow for dense storage, storing up to ten pallet loads. This is used when you have multiple of the same product, so you don’t have to worry about being able to access everything at once.

Push back rack: Using a stationary rack with nested carts, your pallets can move within the rack. This is a more expensive option as it requires tracks to be able to move pallets within the rack.

Cantilever rack: These racks are best for storing difficult-to-store items that cannot touch the floor, such as lumber, metal, furniture, etc. The cantilever rack allows for forklift loading and retrieval.
