Rack, Pallet Rack, Rack Storage, Selective Rack Storage and Much More
The statement “Rack is Rack” is false. Rack is NOT Rack. See Why Below.
Rack really isn’t just Rack and Tyler Supply will help you choose the type of rack that best suits your application. If you need a shelving and rack specialist, you’ve come to the right place.
Pallet Rack creates order and maximizes storage density in a warehouse, making good use of floor space and ceiling height.
Selective Rack is the most common type of racking. It is called “Selective” because you have access to every pallet in the system without having to move any other pallet loads. Selective Rack is the least expensive rack available, based on cost-per-pallet position.
Double Deep Rack stores one pallet load behind another by combining two rows of standard selective rack. This allows you to double the density of your storage, but you limit the access to pallets. To access the second pallet the first pallet position must be empty. This may require double handling and a special reach pallet truck.
